The fracture
The image splits itself — symmetry that doesn’t soothe, but unsettles. Two halves reflecting, not to mirror beauty, but to expose tension. I find myself caught between being drawn in and pushed away.
Red blaze in my chest,

I refuse to turn.
The burn
The color is relentless. It doesn’t calm, it consumes. My eyes search for relief but keep circling back to the center, where the blaze holds stillness at its core.
Sometimes the mirror doesn’t reflect — it ignites.

Staying with it, I realize this isn’t destruction — it’s exposure. The fire doesn’t erase, it reveals. What remains is not comfort, but something truer: presence without disguise.
